Hornsby, Harry and Babe

And no, it's not the law offices...

Welcome to Friday! Well technically it's still Thursday as I write this and I've just gotten back from a Bruce Hornsby concert at the Snoqualmie Casino. I am running on a few gin and tonics so please excuse any grammatical errors and let's hope that come tomorrow it all makes sense! Anyhoosit. The Snoqaulmie Casino, my review? It's okay. It's definitely not Vegas. But let's get down to the real question...how's the buffet? eh. The best thing I had was a brownie with peanut butter frosting. Again, I was missing the biscuits and gravy Vegas buffet style. On the other hand, Mr. Bryan may finally be ready to go to Vegas (looking for some partners in crime to go with). He had a good time gambling and won a little money at the tables. I'd book tickets for this weekend if he wasn't still scared of the Cirque clowns.

The concert was great. I only knew one song, but it was a good one, and he is a very funny talented man. We had 3rd row seats (thanks Kathy) so we were basically in his lap. After staring at him for a few hours I decided that he looks like Mr. Hoggett from the movie Babe.

No? Okay, maybe a younger version of Mr. Hoggett. You should know that I really need glasses.

I have a bad habit of comparing people and things to movies. I used to have a boss that reminded me so much of Dori from Finding Nemo. Same blank stare and everything. It drove me nuts. Are a few of you scratching your heads? I know...it could be a couple of people right?

I also have come to notice that when I'm reading a book, I start to bring some of the story into my world (I can't think of a better way to explain this right now, damn gin). Most likely because I'm thinking about it so much. For example, you now know that I am reading the Harry Potter books. Well this morning the dogs and I went for a run and I swear I thought I saw the freakin' sorting hat sitting in someones driveway. As I got closer I realized it was garbage day and it was just a black hefty bag. Did I mention I need glasses?

Then, I was showering before work and I happen to glance down and was reminded of Hagrid. What?! I'm married, sometimes the landscaping crew takes a vacation. No worries though, now it's looking a little more like a "he who must not be named" (ah gin). Jokes, jokes people. Okay, enough Harry Potter...hey that would make a good name for a v........ For some reason Bryan always used to say "Harry Potter, Fuck you" with an english accent. I never really understood. I think he just likes to swear with an accent. It does sound better doesn't it?

Well that's all folks. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Congratulations on making it through the week. What? What's that you're saying? Flashback Friday? Oh yea...

(hey, that would make a good name for a v....;)

Come on, I look like a wizard in this one. Right? Right?!
