3 celebrities have left us this week, two in one day. I'm the most bent out of shape about Farrah Fawcett and her struggle with cancer. But saddened for Ed Mcmahon and Michael Jackson's families as well. I like to remember the old Michael and what an awesome dancer he was. Just think, without him Justin Timberlake would have never been inspired as a child and who would we crush on? Oh right...I could think of someone.

I just don't get the Michael Jackson great dancer thing. All that grabbing at his crotch is just so embarrassing. I saw him live at Wembley a week after seeing Prince. He was not in the same league. Now I appreciate that much of what is done by stars is for media affect "No publicity is bad publicity" + the press does not need the truth just an angle but the facial surgery.....
ReplyDeleteYes, the Farah thing was really sad. But, I wonder how a conversation between those three in an afterlife scene would go? Something about winning a sweepstakes, Michael going 'Hoooo!' and Farah doing her 'Charlies Angels' laugh?

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous you saw him. I would've loved to see him in concert in his height...pre surgery and accusations. I need to remember to go to concerts before the down spiral of some of these stars.
Funny you should say that Eric because I wondered if they passed by each other yesterday on their way to wherever you go...and thought they both must be in hell.
