While Bryan and I were venue shopping we were disappointed with the venues in the area. All the ones we liked were bloody expensive AND you usually had to use the venue's caterer and alcohol. And so I told the husband, let's build a home that I can work from and celebrate weddings for the rest of our lives k? Soon he had me committed to working every weekend which freaked me out a bit. But my desire to leave the rat race overcame me.
And so I made a plan with the government to have a recession so that I could buy myself a little time to work out the details. During this time that they have provided me I've been shopping for land and searching for the perfect house plan. I find myself attracted to many different styles which makes it very hard. Expecially matching the perfect layout to the perfect exterior. It's enough to drive me mad. If I can afford it, I may have to go the custom home route.
I recently came across this beauty from Porchlight Interiors.

Now let's use our imagination a little shall we? I'm thinking either grey shake, black framed windows and black shutters, or white clapboard with black framed windows and shutters. What do you think? Any chance we could add a front porch somehow?
Or I could just go with this one by Architect Eileen R. Bennett and happily call it a day.

Okay, I think I'm going to start piano lessons because I see a good spot for a baby grand.

The first and last pictures are greatness! Hope you get your venue soon...
