I'm having a baby with Robert Pattinson

How many Google hits do you think that title will get?

I was out late last night at Wicked, so today all you get is a page of "what if". What if she had a baby with her husband like a normal person, BUT what if she had a baby with Robert Pattinson?

You know I love pasting people's heads on photos, so imagine my surprise when I came across the website Morph Thing.

When being cheap is just disgusting

I came to the realization on Friday that I would be wearing open toe shoes and have not shown my toes any love in awhile. I've been scared to get a pedicure due to my broken toe (Bryan I don't care what you say, it's broken) so I've been layering on the L'Oreal Vixen...because I'm out of nail polish remover too.

I decided that during my lunch hour I would make a quick run to the nail salon for a pedicure. I Googled pedicures in my area, but my co-worker suggested the local beauty school...since she knows I'm cheap. Excellent. I love a bargain.

I walked in and they shuffled me straight to the back to a chair in the what I'd call the hair cutting area. I grabbed a magazine thinking I was waiting for one of those massage pedicure chairs to open up. I looked up to see a woman bringing out a Sally Hansen foot bath, you know the vibrating ones? I was scared to put my feet in it, but did it anyway because I'm one of those people that can't speak up. I will pay one day with foot fungus.

She then showed me my three nail polish colors in a Ziploc bag, and set to work. It was the slowest pedicure I've ever had. Normally I wouldn't mind, but I was uncomfortable with my surroundings and afraid my feet would shrivel up any moment. An hour and fifteen minutes later, when I thought the nail polish might be dry I said I had to leave...without the top coat she was about to apply.

I'm sad to say that it wasn't even a bargain. $20. More than my normal place. And the kicker is I tipped...because I'm a really nice person, or a moron. But I had a great conversation with the woman sitting next to me. She was getting a perm. She was quiet, but a great listener. Even let me take her photo.

Jaime and Mike's wedding

Friday we went to my good friend Jaime's wedding at Sodo Park. I was very excited about this wedding because I had never been to the venue before. It was gorgeous, as was the wedding. We had a wonderful time. Congratulations Jaime and Mike, have a great time in Italy!

Flashback Friday: We're not in Kansas anymore

Do you think the Wicked Witch of the West was from the West Coast? Probably not California, she was pretty pale. Pale green actually. It wouldn't surprise me if she was from Washington. First of all, they travel to the Emerald City, which is Seattle's nickname. And after the long winter season we endure, we're a pretty cranky bunch...almost wicked if you will. Perhaps she wasn't really wicked at all, just suffering from seasonal depression. After a few months of constant rain, sometimes all I can think about is a new pair of shiny red shoes too. I sympathize with her.

Which one's the good witch?

I'm going to see Wicked next week. I can't wait! Tonight is my happy hour buddy Jaime's wedding. Good luck James! And then it's a full weekend of re-siding the house. Hope you have a great weekend!

7 ways to wear a dress

I was looking for some winter dresses to wear with tights and maybe those pretty pretty shoes from Urban Outfitters...remember those? Well I was buying a couple Christmas gifts on Etsy for the fam and came across a crowd pleaser. I'm a fan of jersey dresses because you can throw them in the wash, no dry cleaning necessary. Dress em' up, dress em' down. Everyone's happy.

What not to wear

We had another weekend of house projects. We're so exhausted that Charlie put himself to bed around 6pm. Bryan replaced all the windows on the house and proceeded to rip off all the siding and wrap the house. Now all we need is new siding.

I did what I could to help including, but not limited to... whining, feeding the crew (thanks for your help Dad!), killing spiders and acting as clean up crew. Sometimes moral support is tiring enough. Kidding, I did more than that. That siding didn't jump off the house on its own!

I snapped a few photos of the house to show you, but the real star of the show got in the way. Stacy and Clinton would have a hay-day with this one.

Photobucket

The house all wrapped...um darling, what are you wearing?

Photobucket

Can we get a close up please? Yep, that's a zip up!

Yea you are!
