Saturday I went to a bridal shower for my friend Hanna. She is getting married in Key Largo in April!
Johanna
Poofs! I love poofs!
Awesome sangria. 3 different kinds!
Caprese kabobs
Heart shaped sweets
Red velvet cupcakes
The best bridal shower game ever! You will see this one again at the next shower I throw. Someone get married please!
Bridal Jeopardy
The winners! These girls know their stuff!

I brought Hanna a special gift. When we worked together previously, our company had a dance off at our holiday party. Hanna and I were the only two from our office that would participate. Long story short, we won! The prize was $1,000. $500 each, and a gaudy trophy. Well I'm a packrat and have had this trophy for the past 4 years...so now it's Hanna's turn to keep it. Don't worry, I got her a real gift too.
It was a great shower.
Congratulation's Hanna and Mike. I can't wait to see the wedding pictures!

What a great gift to let her keep the trophy. And congrats to you for winning the dance off. Competitions with few competitors are my favorite. Thatagirl!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics as usual. But you go to more showers/birthdays/dinners than anyone in the world!! And I love it!
Pretty food. Since I can't eat it maybe I can photograph it like you...with my new camera. woohoo.
ReplyDeleteI love that I have been blogged by you now! Is that the right verb to use? I had almost forgotten about the trophy until you walked in with it...thanks for letting me have it! :) And thank you for coming out to the party!
ReplyDeleteCute shower! Congrats Hanna, can't wait to see the wedding photos!

Mrsblogalot- Thank you! And thanks for stopping by!
Mylittlebecky- Games AND food?! I don't even know what I'd make...you're allergic to everything ;)
Thanks for voting! Wait how did you know? Are you reading wedding blogs now?
I want some of those kabobs!! Yum!
ReplyDeleteawww!! that sangria looked like it was YUMMY.
ReplyDeletedance off - what no videos?
If I ever get married there's only one wedding gift I want. Monkey butlers. Monkey butlers that can be trained to recreat world war 2, but with less death and more poo flinging.
ReplyDeleteNobody takes me seriously. Sigh.
Joi- Heart shaped anything is always better. Unless it's jewelery. I'm not a big fan of heart shaped jewelery for some reason.
ReplyDeleteIn a Yellow House- They were delish! And look easy to make.
Sheree- I don't know if there is a video of that. I'll have to find out.
Mike- Like the puppy bowl but a war with poo? My Husband wanted a chimp as our flower girl. I don't understand this male fascination with monkeys.

ReplyDeleteI'm totally stealing that Bridal Shower Jeopardy game because, let's be honest: it's pure genius. I also think that cupcake stand is the cutest I've seen and it makes mine look ridiculous. Do you know where it's from? Lastly, I think the trophy alone was gift enough. I mean, who wouldn't want that as decor in their home? And great job on the dance-off win! :)
ReplyDeleteThe cupcake stand is from the best store in the world...Target. I believe it had gone on clearance last week when my friend bought it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! I found it online and I'm purchasing.
