My goodness I'm so far behind in food and friends posts lately I might have to start posting on the weekends. Last week, before photobucket (I really need a new photo site) decided to mess with me, I went to my friend Shannon's for dinner. Remember now, Shannon has little
Sienna the Wonder Pup who is in that goofy growing too fast for her own coordination stage. Love it.

Oh hai...I remember you.
Not such a peanut anymore. And definitely female..in case you had your doubts
Do you think L'Oreal has a box # for that color?

Friends
And one on the left that could use a hefty does of makeup

Lauren's deviled eggs. Sienna approved.
Shannon's meatloaf and mashed potatoes.
She was actually dressed as Mickey Mouse earlier...
forgot to take off the hands.
Tired pup
I subjected everyone to gluten-free, dairy free cupcakes from
Elana's PantrySeriously you have to try them. I love every recipe!

The food critic says...delightful!
I'm bored with you now. That will be all, please leave.
Ahhh I love the wonderpup with glasses! So cute. Also I need to eat some gluten free cupcakes for sure. I mean I don't NEED to eat anything.. but since i had about 4 regular cupcakes yesterday and my gallbladder feels like it is going to explode.. yeah.. i need to switch back to a gluten free lifestyle!
ReplyDeleteWhat a little cutie!
ReplyDeleteThat dog is so cute! You're glasses look good on her too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THE DOG! (I used to dye my hair that color... Moroccan Spice by Garnier, I believe.)
ReplyDeleteThat first picture of the dog is a melt-your-heart sorta picture. So adorable. Do you have a gluten allergy and/or a dairy allergy? I have a few friends with gluten allergies so I'm definitely passing on these recipes!
ReplyDeleteIf you decide to stop waiting on your hubby for a trip to San Fran, just lemme know. :)

awwww, puppy! want to squeeeze it!
ReplyDeleteCarissa- All dogs should wear glasses right? I'm feeling better off wheat and grains. Less bloaty is good.
ReplyDeleteKrysten- She is darling. You should see her in person. No really, come on over!
Mandy- Those glasses make anyone look good right? ;)
gringationcancun- Ha! It is like a moroccan spice. I've never ever dyed my hair. Can you believe that? I'm so boring.
Jenifer- No allergies for me. Just feel better when I don't eat them. Less digestion issues since I've stopped grains and dairy. Love Elana's recipes because it doesn't take 25 different flours to make something.
Becky- Okay I'll let you squeeze her, but not too hard.

ReplyDeleteLittle harsh on yourself there Nikki, I mean, let’s face it, nothing that a paper bag would not cure.....
Just kidding....I had my fingers crossed as I typed it. You can’t set yourself up like that and not expect a little affectionate swipe at you
Now come on, let’s not blow it all out of proportion, I’m still dealing with the hate mail from the last time I made a comment….
What do you mean you are going to take a restraining order out against me……
P.S. Not sure I fancy the devilled eggs now that the wonder pup has given his ‘Drool of Approval...’
P.P.S Just discovered* one of your local groups – Band of Horses. Their latest album “Infinite Arms” is on my current play list
* I’m only 6 years late to the party**, but since they have been flying under the radar 3 albums in 6 years, they can hardly be described as prolific….
** That’s not bad, the Beatles had been disbanded for 7 years before I got into them.
Before you say it, I know they are now based in South Carolina but they originated in Seatle (I think they were called horeses then) and that's just a short drive across what? about 8 states, you could probably drive there for a concert and be back in time for the fall....
ReplyDeleteyummy, we made meatloaf with potatoes last weekend and its so comforting. YUM.
ReplyDeletei love deviled eggs - hmmm, should i make some?
