Portland says, Your look is tired

This weekend I took a little trip to Portland to visit my friend Kaitlyn. I decided to go ahead and put all the photos in one post because I didn't want to make you wait. I'm always thinking about you. Really I am...

Thanks again for having me Kaitlyn! If you'd like to see last years trip, clicky HERE.

Sit tight, there's a ton!

Then we did some shopping on 23rd.
I did make a very expensive purchase, which you will see in two weeks time.
I also got an idea after taking a picture of a darling sales girl.

Later we went for a little hike.
It was Dylan's 6th birthday so we needed to do something special.

Here is Kaitlyn when we got back to the car.
Can you guess what she is doing? Can you see what is behind her? Yes. Ouch.
We both know what they look like, neither of us noticed before it was too late!

Then it was time for dinner...we don't each much
Photobucket

Dinner at Pambiche
(Pork cuban plate, Maduros, Banana Cake, Palm Beach Cooler)

On the way to breakfast we came across these gems.
I wanted them, but I knew my husband would kill me.
Last trip I brought home a dresser I have yet to paint.

Photobucket

They were still there later so we picked them up for Kaitlyn.
I'm bummed I missed out but excited to see what she does with them

Loved this orange door on a grey

This garage cracked me up

Your trip looks like it was amazing and relaxing. Oregon has such a charming lifestyle I think... I mean I've never really been there... but I want to go now.

  8. 3 Things:

My fridge died this weekend. I'm sick of peanut butter sandwiches. Your post didn't help.

It was Jinx's 5th birthday - her special thing is a whole can of tuna. If she's anything like her predecessor she'll get 10 more. Happy birthday to your buddy too.

The salt shop cracked me up. Sodium Chloride. Maybe Potassium Chloride for people on reduced sodium diets. I buy my sodium chloride at the grocery store for $0.98 a giant can. It amazes me on what people can make money on. Good for them!

  9. looks like a great trip... love Portland, but you're making me hungry! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am still on the hunt to find morels (it's one mushroom that has eluded me.) the ones I used were a gift. I agree... def a special occasion meal when you bring out morels.

  15. Chelsea- Definitely. First you need to find a sales associate with the style you want ;)

MaryBeth- Thank you! We had so much good food. I'm craving Cuban right now.

Katia- Twinsies...hope you don't mind. You could've eaten quite a bit of it actually.

Diana- Someone else said it made me look younger too. I don't know if that is a good thing...I already look 12. Those are stairs between the driveway. A lot of houses around there have that.

Krysten- They're a good slug. Some of them have spots too! Thank you. The hair is growing on me. Literally ;)

Alissa- Yes! And half the hair products. I overdid it on the shampoo this a.m. I love banana cake. I didn't used to. It was yummy!

McKenna- Bahaha! Well thank you missy. Didn't quite expect that response ;) I do love Portland. I think I could live there. Especially the food!

Mike- 3 things...why are you waiting to get your fridge fixed? I love pb&j! Poor Jinx, what a bad pet owner. I didn't buy anything...but is your salt infused with chocolate, or smoked? Not for that price!

Joe- I'm leary of purchasing them online. We get ours from the farmers market or my Grandma brings them from Europe.

Danielle- Haha thanks. Take you by surprise? You know Portland has great food. How could I not?

Gramychou- I ignored the Paleo, but bought the book if you want to read it!

Monique- Thank you. I'm learning with camera...and with my hair. It was a great trip!

Alecia- Thanks. What a change huh?!
