This weekend a few girlfriends and I went to visit one of my College roommates in San Diego. We also found out...

She's prego! Hi baby...I think it's a girl
And so we ate ;)
We loved it!
A little pampering. I did mine before with a gift certificate naturally
Chelsi's cute little courtyard with tons of jasmine. It smelled so wonderful!

Dinner out before Sex and the City 2

Dinner out before Sex and the City 2
Seriously couldn't get enough of that sun!
Then we sunbathed at the beach ;)
Sparkling vodka lemonades
Losing my sunglasses
Mexican pasta salad for lunch
Katie approves!
Katie's chicken, Chelsi's filet,
my crab and pancetta stuffed trout, Tori's lobster bisque and salad
Operation find Katie a boy: SUCCESS!
Smiles all around
Thanks so much for having us Chelsi, we had a blast!
Congratulations on the new bebe! Can't wait to come back and see it!

Everything looks amazing - food, weather, clothes, drinks....wow! Congrats to Chelsi on the new baby!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love San Diego? Looks like you had a great time. And where did you get that gray floral skirt you are wearing? Love it!

I need to go to San Diego. Fabulous pics; thanks.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time! How can you eat so much & still look like a sports illustrated model??
ReplyDeleteWow it looks like you all had an AMAZING time (minus losing your sunglasses, of course).
ReplyDeleteGreat pics...great collages...the Cougs are aging gracefully! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like San Diego is beautiful! I have to admit, I've never been there! I am jealous that you were off in the sun on the beach and we had a rainy rainy weekend! And I don't know how many pairs of sun glasses I've lost in the ocean.. it's pretty ridiculous! Your bathing suit is super cute by the way!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous...it was pouring rain here ALL weekend. Looks like you had a marvelous time and congrats to Chelsi on the baby!
ReplyDeleteI lost my sunglasses on the bottom of lake Erie. I went snorkling for them and found an anchor instead. The anchor belonged to the little beach launch of a nearby yacht which earned us a cold beer.
ReplyDeleteLake Erie isn't nearly as nice as the San Diego beaches. I would much rather lose my sunglasses there even without a free beer.
Also, I have to plug my brand new website (well, revamped website) www.truthofwater.com
EVERYBODY GO THERE AND STUFF!!
So much good looking food and good looking girls. It looks like yall had a great time! I've got to edit my "news to come" on my post to say something else or my mom will send me the same comment! haha
ReplyDeleteaw I'm loving all these pictures. Matthew is from SD so we spend quite a bit of time down there. Where are the taquitos from?? they look delicious!! So glad you had fun!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! What fun! Sun, fun, baby news and all that food. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you had a great time!
i love jasmines. i was just saying to david i wanted to get another one because the last one died because of the weird sun we had at our old house. i think it's a sign. i need to get a jasmine like now.
ReplyDeletethe food always makes me so hungry. and HOW DO YOU DO IT? eat and look so great! :)
you and your trips and your photography. pfft. always showing people up. shucks.
ReplyDeletealso, what is that purpley stuff on the cliff?
Chelsea- Oh the weather! I'm seriously thinking of moving.
ReplyDeleteJenifer- Love San Diego. Or anywhere with sun really. That's an old navy skirt. Nothing special!
Diana- Yes you do. Roadtrip!
Katia- Easy...#1- those are not all my meals, #2- I cut my stomach out of the photos ;)
Krysten- Just an excuse to get another pair.
Gramychou- Cougs don't age. Easy as that.
Mandy- Did you change your blog name? I like it. We had a blast. The sun was a plus.
Alecia- So much fun. I heard it was rainy...boo. Next week there will be sun!
Mike- I have never been to Lake Erie. But would for a beer! Water huh? Are you one of those people who can't live without their energized water?
Vanessa- Yes you better...I've been speculating ;)
Mara- I saw your San Diego photos. Couldn't wait to be there! The taquitos are from Prospect Bar & Grill in La Jolla.
High heeled foot in the door- It was a great weekend. Love my time with friends.
Sheree- I didn't even know they could grow here?! I want one too. See my response to Katia's question above ;)
Becky- I think those are flowers...no clue what kind. You take trips...you just don't take pictures, you draw them instead!
Ahhh looks like you had a blast! I'm so happy!
ReplyDeleteCarissa- It was a good time for sure. I needed that sun.
