Hot Tamales
I love tamales. Sometimes at Mexican restaurants I just order a side tamale with guacamole and salsa. So good! Recently a friend shared with me that there is a little hole in the wall Mexican joint in Issaquah that makes its own tamales. But only on Saturdays. So of course, Saturday we went. I must say, they were delicious and only $1.79 each! Whoo hoo!
Check them out if you're in the area. Taqueria La Venadita. Lucky for me Saturday happens once every week!
What did you eat this weekend?

ReplyDeleteDo you guys have Trader Joe's out there yet? They have awesome frozen tamales - just pop em in the microwave for 5 min, and they are done. Easy work lunch!
ReplyDeleteI still don't know what a Tamale is. This weekend I made pancakes. MMMM pancakes.
ReplyDeleteThose look so good!I think the first time I tried tamales was in Mexico - in Patzcuaro - they were amazing..we had them for breakfast!
