Hot Tamales

Photobucket

I love tamales.  Sometimes at Mexican restaurants I just order a side tamale with guacamole and salsa.  So good!  Recently a friend shared with me that there is a little hole in the wall Mexican joint in Issaquah that makes its own tamales.  But only on Saturdays.  So of course, Saturday we went.  I must say, they were delicious and only $1.79 each!  Whoo hoo!

Check them out if you're in the area. Taqueria La Venadita. Lucky for me Saturday happens once every week!

What did you eat this weekend?

  2. Do you guys have Trader Joe's out there yet? They have awesome frozen tamales - just pop em in the microwave for 5 min, and they are done. Easy work lunch!

Um, this weekend I cooked grilled filet steak with cajun spice, home made spinach orzo pasta with grilled red peppers (from jar).
