Later we got to have some fun. We headed to Ravish on Eastlake Avenue for some small bites with friends. Ravish is an adorable restaurant with a great drink list and organic food.
The decor is awesome too.

What did you do this weekend?

Racoon! Those guys are remarkably stubborn. Once they make their home in a big metal garbage bin they don't want to come out.
ReplyDeleteAlso, this weekend I had the last home cooked meal from my mom I will have until the new year. My dad is 60 and my mom 57 and they now spend 6-7 weeks in florida every year. Never thought they'd become snowbirds.
You always have fancy food. I learn about new ways to prepare food when I come to this blog, that I had never heard of before. Maybe I'm a shut in ;)
You make me hate my food allergies!.......I was down with a head cold this weekend but did scrap some...that's therapeutic for me.
ReplyDeleteAn appraisal? Are you guys selling?
ReplyDeleteI'll take one of those meatloaf sliders!! Yum!
Crazy coon! ick! they freak me out! Amazing food pictures but that's nothing new ;)
ReplyDeleteOmg - all of that food looks amazing!! I will have to try that place ott! Ran into Marc DT last week - he seems to be quite the happy newlywed - all thanks to you dear. :)
ReplyDeletePlease tell me you either cropped the crap out of this picture or were on major zoom. That close to a racoon, gross!
ReplyDeleteHad such a fun time this weekend, thanks for coming out to dinner with us! Your food pics turned out great!
ReplyDelete1) Congrats, you little matchmaker, you!
ReplyDelete2) I'm drooling on my keyboard over the food. And it's 10:00 am and I want a steak.
3) The racoon looks cute. Too bad they are so mean and nasty.

Looks like a really cool place!
ReplyDeleteI'll take one of those cakes :-)
ReplyDeleteI played tennis on Saturday and on Sunday too :-)
happy new week
I really need some crab cakes right now.
ReplyDeleteUm, YUM!!! you find the best little restaurants. I've never even heard of most of them and they look TO.DIE.FOR!!
ReplyDeleteHope you're staying warm and safe in the snow! The boyfriend got to work this AM and the power was out, so he got to hang out at his moms for 3 hours. Now I'm thinking he might need to leave early cos the temperature is a droppin'!
Stay warm and safe!
That food looks amazing...I am hungry.
ReplyDeleteI spent time with a gal-pal and my sis this weekend.
Your house is getting appraised? Is it in the 5th grade or something?
ReplyDeleteI spent the weekend sorting out clothes - Mrs B is enforcing a 1 in 1 out policy and has backdated it about 10 years. I'm having to say goodbye to some faithful friends, ouch, it really hurts....
P.S. sorry about the drawl, I'm salivating over those "Flank steak satay skewers" - It's your fault you posted the photo....
your posts make me hungry no matter what time of the day i read them. :)
ReplyDeletecongrats to the newly weds!
