People who live in white houses....

Shouldn't throw it in my face!

Okay no one did. But I'm jealous anyway. Growing up there was a house kitty corner to my parent's that was a little white bungalow in need of some love. It was on a huge lot of land with horses, and a shaggy black sheep dog named Huckoulee. I wanted that house for quite some time. Now there are dozens I want. Some big, some small, filed away for someday when I'll have to make a decision. Or hopefully get to make a decision is more like it!

For the birds!

So much cute bird decor around the internet lately I've had to restrain myself from becoming a bird lady. Which is arguably worse than a cat lady because birds are emotionally unavailable.

A visit with Baby Dori

This weekend I got to see baby Dori again. Twice. First on Saturday night when we stopped by so Bryan could snuggle her, causing us to stay longer than planned and I didn't get my Pho' until 9pm. It was a tough choice, baby or Pho'? Then I went again on Sunday so my Mom could meet her.

Flashback Friday: Manslinger

The other day I was thinking about boyfriends past. My first boyfriend was in 3rd grade. Our Sisters were in 6th grade together, and one day some of their guy friends tried to make us kiss behind the backstop. Well we didn't. On the walk back to the classroom I kissed him on the cheek and ran to the girl's bathroom. He said he saw fireworks.

I was a bit of a manslinger in Elementary School. All of the girls were. We traded the boys around our circle.

When my Mom asked me what Nationality my boyfriend was, I told her he was Phila-penis. She told me I probably shouldn't tell him that.

I knew from the start all they wanted was to be taken care of, nurtured. And then you had them wrapped around your finger.

You can see it in my eyes. A manslinger.

Easter Skirt

I've been seeing a lot of cute Easter outfits all over the blogosphere, and when I saw this skirt at Old Navy I decided it must be mine. Now I have to guilt myself into not missing out on it. I'm a procrastinator and sometimes even $25 is too much. My Mom used to buy us new dresses for Easter and Christmas. Now that I'm married, is it my Husband's job?

Photobucket

I now have a million cardigans...so what's one more?

Photobucket

No accessories. Remember, I can't accessorize to save my life. But hey, it's colorful. I guess you can't have it all!

New Moon is here! and a review of Remember Me

Sunday my Sister threw a small New Moon viewing. Before we headed to Bainbridge the previous day, we stopped by Target to pick up a copy of the movie and missed the ferry we planned on taking.

Katia unintentionally bought Sanpellegrino for the Italian scenes in Volterra (I think what I want)

Thanks for hosting Kat. Even if I'll have to watch it again...in private ;)

Last weekend my Mom, Sister and I went to see Remember Me. I liked it. It's not hard for me to like something Robert Pattinson is in. He's good eye candy. The story was interesting and I wanted him to succeed. Therefore, good movie.

But its hard sharing your heartthrob with two other woman. Especially when your Mother starts picking him apart. You get a little...defensive.

No Mom his teeth don't look like fangs...

Katia, don't watch me watch the sexy scenes and then make fun of me later...

And then you start to think every woman in this theater must be imagining themselves with him. What a lucky man!

So if you like him, you'll like it. It's better than the Twilight Saga (*gasp*).

Seabold Vintage Market

This weekend Katia and I went to the Seabold Vintage Market on Bainbridge Island. I heard about over at Red Ticking's blog, so we thought we'd check out the opening day.

I didn't take any pictures at the market, we got there a little late and things were pretty picked over. But we made sure to stop by Ross on the way home and each found a few things.

It was such a beautiful first day of Spring and we had a great time chatting and eating (of course)! Check it out if you're looking for a little day trip. The next market is May 15th.

First Days of Spring

Happy first day of Spring! I usually don't do weekend posts, but it is gorgeous out and it made me think of this song by Noah And The Whale. Hope you're out enjoying your weekend!

Green Dress, Red Dress?

I'm scared of color. I don't know why but I have a heck of time slipping it into my wardrobe. I just bought this dress from Spool No. 72. I've had my eye on it for a while, and they finally restocked it. Lucky for me they take paypal so it wasn't even a question of pulling out my debit card to make the purchase.

But now I don't know, too bright? Do I look like a girl scout? Of course right after I receive it my Sister sees that they have it in red. I love RED! Why didn't I get it in red? I might exchange it. What you do you think?

Photobucket

I seriously need a tan. Perhaps shaving my legs would help.

Photobucket

Better with boots? Or if my Husband had stood up to take the picture?

I wasn't always afraid of color...

Here I am channeling Maria from Westside Story. Better in red?

Game Night!

Last weekend we went to Game Night at Shannon and Ryan's. There was food, friends...and of course little Sienna. Oh and Bryan's competitiveness came too. Sometimes I wish it would stay home.
