silent videos
After seeing this sweet video of the Nielsen family on their sailboat Auroramark, I really want to start taking lots of family videos and editing them to music instead of our annoying voices. I might need to get my hands on a little camera for Europe.
For my Highschool graduation I got a video camera but it was stolen in College, along with the tapes from my last dance recital. I'm sure whomever got those tapes were less than thrilled. I'm still mad about that. They also drank all our Captain Morgans. My Dad said in the future we should keep a jug of rum on top of the fridge mixed with laxatives. I thought it was a good idea but was afraid we'd forget we had rigged it and drink it all anyway.

That's a great idea! Our weird side conversations always ruin our cute kids videos anyway...
ReplyDeleteI love videos set to music. I can't stand to hear my voice, although it is sweet to have a mix of the kids' voices with music.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I have a video to post of Oliver, I just need to get over how terrible my laugh is. BUT, I would love to see Europe videos, so get on that!

ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing a while back, but just taking snippets of video on my phone, and downloaded a couple apps to edit them together. They weren't working so well, so I threw in the towel... for now. Let me know how it works if you start doing it.

ReplyDeleteAnd haha at "annoying voices" our families can make in home videos. I know what you mean. Sometimes music just makes the watching process much more bearable.
