Turkeys have what in them?

We had two dinners on Thanksgiving, and I didn't take food pictures because I think turkey dinners look gross.  Every dish is either mushy or covered in gravy...now I'm hungry.  After turkey dinner number one we headed to my parents house where I fell asleep on the couch while my Grandma told me about her leg cramps.

Mom:  Why are you so tired?

Me:  I don't know...food, alcohol, talking

Mom:  Is it the paraphernalia in the turkey?

Me:  Uhhhh

Dad:  You mean tryptophan right?

Mom:  Oh...yea.

You are right about the mushy food. How can we change that?

  5. Things that parents say. Refer to my blog to what my dad said while in Ikea. It almost got me beat up by a very large, angry woman.

  9. I never had turkey! Don´t even know if you can buy it over here? Spouse thinks it doesn´t taste good, so he (chef) never even tries to give it a go. Would so love to taste it one day!
